Comprised of smooth eclecticism, TIME FOR T have risen from the creative centrifuge that is the southern UK city of Brighton. Their strange breed of sound travels through a rhythm of afrobeat, indie, folk and rock & roll to create waves that grow with torrential intensity. Once locked in from the climbing beat, the lyrics and their deliverance by frontman Tiago Saga transport the listener through stories and experiences with photographic vividness.
TIME FOR T began as frontman Tiago Saga’s solo project and with the inclusion of Joshua Taylor, Harry Haynes, Oli Weder, Martyn Lillyman and Juan Serra, grew into an exceptionally diverse sound. Their latest EP (Self-Titled) was released by BBE Records and NOS Discos in November 2014. Produced by Tim Bidwell (Fink, Kate Walsh), it is the culmination of months of writing which spanned much of western Europe during their tours.
Touring has been an essential part of their growth, having completed 3 European Tours, playing to packed rooms from Paris to Lisbon, Madrid to Bristol and a host of Festivals - NOS Alive, Super Bock Super Rock, 2000 Trees, MEO Sudoeste, Meadowlands etc...
Their music and live performances have already earned them the title as one of the most diverse and exciting bands on the Brighton scene. Comparisons have been made with Devendra Banhart, The Doors, Little Comets and The Shins amongst others. The band has been featured on BBC Introducing, Simon Raymonde's Amazing Radio show, National Radios in Spain and Portugal as well as TV appearances and feature films.
